Wow – I’m going to start off this post by saying how blown away I am by the quality of Seville’s vacation rentals. There are dozens and dozens of stunning luxury Airbnb in Seville! That said, some stand out more than others, so I’ve handpicked the ones that truly stand out.
Luckily, I have completed the almost impossible task of whittling it down to 22 handpicked properties from Seville’s most impressive Airbnb listings. If you’re on the hunt for a luxury pad in Andalusia’s capital, then you have most definitely come to the right place!
Seville makes for a wonderful city break in Europe. With its unique Mudejar architecture, fascinating colonial history, connection to the roots of flamenco dancing and an absolutely divine local cuisine, you really can’t go wrong with a few days spent exploring Andalusia’s soulful capital city.
There is no better way to experience Seville than to be at the heart of it all – in the old town in the city centre – so that you can wander the streets of the romantic Barrio Santa Cruz and be within walking distance of all of the city’s major sites and attractions and a good deal of its best restaurants.
Like most ‘best of’ lists, I set out to narrow it down to ten standout properties. However, I quickly discovered that this was going to be an impossible task, so I then raised the bar to the top 15.
Alas, I couldn’t even manage that. The upside for you, though, is straightforward: Seville has an abundance of beautiful apartments, leaving you spoiled for choice.
Even when categorising properties so that I could format this post, I tried to take out those that weren’t quite in the city centre (none of them) or those without a pool, terrace or exceptionally aesthetic interiors – again, couldn’t cut any out!
As a result, I’ve split this post into the following sections:
- The best Airbnb in Seville with pools and terraces
- The best Airbnb in Seville with terraces
- Best of the rest – stylish and trendy Airbnb in Seville (Airbnb in Seville that don’t have a pool and/or a terrace, but are very central and too damn beautiful to leave off the list)

Planning your trip to Seville
Which is the best area to stay in Seville?
If you’re visiting on a city break as opposed to a week or longer and are wondering where to stay in Seville, then I would highly recommend placing yourself in the historic city centre of Sevilla.
The majority of properties listed in this post are located in the neighbourhoods (or ‘barrio’) of Santa Cruz and El Arenal – basically those areas that are the closest to Seville Cathedral, the Giralda Tower and the Real Alcazar.
The area of Santa Cruz is possibly one of the prettiest areas of Seville to stay in. Streets are narrow, winding and cobbled, with buildings sporting bright coloured window frames and interspersed with charming courtyards and interior patios.
Just west of Barrio Santa Cruz is El Arenal, Seville’s former port area which borders the river. This was the area from which Seville’s ships set sail for the New World and the neighbourhood contains many imposing historical buildings, along with Seville’s bullring.
If you are staying in Seville for longer than a couple of days, then you might consider staying in Triana, a neighbourhood on the opposite bank of the river that is lively and up and coming. Triana is renowned for its soulful character and longtime traditions such as flamenco and ceramic making.
If you don’t want to be quite as central and want to be away from the tourists that flock to Seville’s oldest neighbourhoods, then Triana is a good alternative as it is still within walking distance of the center.
What is there to do in Seville?
Whether you wish to delight in the gastronomic delights on offer in Seville, or delve deep into its fascinating history and diverse culture then you will find that there is plenty to do in Seville.
I’ve covered this in detail in another post on how to spend 2 days in Seville (although it can also be applied to a longer time spent in the city too).
